1. Theoretical Foundation
Jin Suo Yu Guan, also called Passing Yin-Yang, is the essence of the Form School. Without a compass, one observes the Sha-Water of eight directions around a house to judge fortune. Based on He Tu Luo Shu and Xian-Hou Tian Bagua.
2. Core Formula
1,2,3,4 Need Sha; 6,7,8,9 Need Water
Kan(1), Kun(2), Zhen(3), Xun(4) should have tall objects (Sha); Qian(6), Dui(7), Gen(8), Li(9) should have low/open space (Water). "An inch higher is Sha; an inch lower is Water."

4. Xian-Hou Tian Principle
The principle lies in Xian Tian as substance, Hou Tian as application. The Yin-Yang of Xian Tian Bagua determines the Sha-Water needs of Hou Tian directions:
- Xian Tian Kun in Hou Tian Kan (Kun is Yin, needs Yang) → Kan needs Sha
- Xian Tian Xun in Hou Tian Kun → Kun needs Sha
- Xian Tian Li in Hou Tian Zhen → Zhen needs Sha
- Xian Tian Dui in Hou Tian Xun → Xun needs Sha
- Xian Tian Qian in Hou Tian Li (Qian is Yang, needs Yin) → Li needs Water
